The article examines the origin of CLIPPIR diamonds and their criteria in kimberlites and conditions of their mantle crystallization. Topics covered include the mineralogical and geochemical conditions of the mantle environment of diamond's generation and crystallization by the chemical compositions of kimberlite indicator minerals (KIM), the geochemistry of the CLIPPIR diamonds growth environment, and the thermodynamic regime and structure of the mantle. |
