Abstrakt: Results on the dissipation of residues of flupyradifurone 200 SL and its metabolites in eggplant fruits and soil using LC-MS/MS-TSQ Quantiva are reported. Two concentrations, i.e. 875 (recommended) and 1750 g ha-1 (double the recommended) of the commercial formulation (Sivanto Prime) were sprayed at the fruit initiation stage. Alongwith, the dissipation kinetics of its metabolites namely difluoroethyl aminofuranone (DFEAF), difluoroacetic acid (DFA) and 6-chloronicotinic acid (6-CNA) was studied. The mean initial deposits of flupyradifurone on eggplant fruits at recommended and double the recommended doses were 0.79 and 1.60 mg kg-1 respectively. The residues dissipated with time and reached 0.73 mg kg-1 in recommended dose and 1.41 mg kg-1 in double the recommended dose 1 d after spraying. The residues reached below the limit of quantification (LOQ) of 0.05 mg kg-1 after 30 d of spraying at both doses. The residues of metabolites viz., DFEAF and DFA were < LOQ in eggplant fruit up to 35 d at both the doses. The half life values of flupyradifurone in eggplant fruits at the 2 doses were 9.35 and 8.82 d respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
