Abstrakt: | The article explores how neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) across the U.S. have enacted a range of internal policies to protect infants, their families, and staff from contracting COVID-19. Topics include interaction at the bedside have exacerbated the negative mental health implications; and immediate negative consequences on parent mental health and short-and-long-term-effects on infant development. |
