Abstrakt: |
The application of the cryogenic technique for purifying helium isotopes and their mixtures from concomitant admixtures is described. This technique is suitable for the purpose of 3He polarization using the PAMP (polarization of atoms in a magnetized plasma) method. It is based on a long gas deposit in a tube at liquid helium temperature when the tube is immersed into a standard storage dewar. The observed optical emission spectra of helium plasma and the estimate of the 3He polarization (approximately 1%) at room temperature evidence the effectiveness of the described procedures for helium purification and cell cleaning.
