This work is devoted to the process of hydrogenation of benzaldehyde on catalysts containing platinum and oxides of rare-earth elements. The reaction is carried out at 20-25 °C and a hydrogen pressure of 1 ATM. It was found that the reaction was proceeded in the kinetic region, and the rates of hydrogenation of benzaldehyde on these catalysts were determined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
