The paper considers relevant problems of the environmental impact of industrial waste from metallurgical production. Currently, the problem of waste processing is acute. One of the tasks for solving this problem is the development of a laboratory unit for the automated process study of de-oiling sludge under conditions of hydrodynamic cavitation in rotary-impulse equipment.
