The article provides information on COVID-19 testing in the U.S. Among the various types of COVID-19 tests are molecular, serological and antigen tests. It mentions the use of COVID-19 testing for surveillance, screening or diagnosis. It explains the effect of the emergence of new variants of the severe acute respiratory syndrome-coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) on COVID-19 diagnostic testing. |
