We found, at the second trimester morphological ultrasound, a cerebral vascular dilatation using the colour and pulsed Doppler which was isolated with no other cerebral or other organ malformations. Vein of Galen aneurysmal malformation is a rare complex malformation of the cerebral vascular system, characterised by the dilation of an embryonic vein precursor of the Galenian vein causing an arteriovenous shunt.
