The article looks at the experiences of minority college students in the U.S. based on the letters they drafted to a real or imagined member of the university community inspired by arguments made in the May/June 2020 issue of the periodical "Change." Two of the students, Jasmine Walker and Yarina Aguilar Becerra, have demonstrated their commitment to their communities of origin. It emphasizes the need for higher education professionals to revise classrooms to accommodate every student. |
