According to Whitney Knauer, Assistant Professor of Dairy Production Medicine, Department of Veterinary Population Medicine, University of Minnesota, the first 24 hours of life and the first four weeks of dairy calves are very important. He tells that necessary nutrition during cold weather, feeding more or feeding something that's a higher quality will support maintenance, growth and immune function. |
