A rapid, portable and sensitive electrochemical sensing platform has been successfully constructed for chromium determination in wastewater, combining with micro electrochemical system (#ECS).The reduction peak of Cr was recorded by differential pulse cathodic stripping voltammetry (DPCSV) with three eeectrodes. We obtained a good iinear responses of the peak current against the concentrations of Cr($) over the range of 2-500 #mol/L and the detection Unit was 0. 55 #mol/L(28. 60 #g/L). The detection of Cr reached the guideiine value set by world heatth organization (WHO) for Cr ( $ ) in groundwater(50 #g/L).The concentration o fCr in the chrome-plating industry sewage water was 2.03 #mol/L, which was consistent with the data using the spectroscopic analysis in national standard method. This method has good reproduciblity and high sensitivity, so it has great potential in the field realtime monitoring of Cr in the environments. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
