An editorial is presented on day-to-day measurement of physical activity for estimating atrial fibrillation onset in high-risk persons undergoing continuous monitoring. Topics include incidence of atrial fibrillation (AF) being promoted by the presence of modifiable and lifestyle-based risk factors including obesity and hypertension; and having heart failure, previous stroke, hypertension, or diabetes mellitus. |
