Abstrakt: MRCS performance data were linked by administrators at The Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS England) to training data from the General Medical Council's (GMC) list of registered medical practitioners. Results Specialty training data were matched for 4,160 MRCS Part A candidates and 3,253 MRCS Part B candidates. High stakes, large scale assessments such as the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) examination serve three vital roles in postgraduate medical training. [Extracted from the article]
