Abstrakt: This study investigates the effect of organic solvents and colloidal nanostructure generated through micelles and reverse micelles on the linear and nonlinear properties of epsilon blue dye. The colloidal nanostructure was prepared by cationic, anionic, and non-ionic surfactants and nanodroplets of water confined in oil, and their effect on epsilon blue was studied. The results showed that the quantities of nonlinear absorption and nonlinear refractive index of epsilon blue only changed by an increase in the concentration of non-ionic surfactant. The results revealed that an increase in the size of nanodroplets of water confined in oil leads to an increase in the nonlinear quantities of the dye, which can be the effect of light scattering on the size increase of the droplets.
