Abstrakt: In summary, we here report hitherto unpublished cardiac lesions in farmed salmonids diagnosed during routine histopathological investigation of field cases. The viral diseases such as heart and skeletal muscle inflammation (HSMI), cardiomyopathy syndrome (CMS) and pancreas disease (PD) cause significant fish welfare problems, mortality and economical losses (Brijs et al., 2020; Bruno et al., 2013; Hjeltnes et al., 2019).
