A low-cost CubeSat ADCS simulator has been developed to support learning facilities of nanosatellite technology at the Department of Physics-Energy Engineering, Surya University. The simulator includes three degrees of freedom inertial platform and a CubeSat model contains affordable commercial electronic components. The simulator is completed with a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to help the user controlling the CubeSat conveniently. There are two control systems used in the simulator-open loop and closed loop using PID control. The open-loop control system succeeds to change CubeSat's attitude based on the user's command, but it still has ±32.6° angle deviation. Whereas the use of a closed-loop control system minimized the angle deviation to ±7.7°. The platform could demonstrate the attitude dynamic of 1U CubeSat, though these preliminary results could be improved with hardware optimization, e.g., the actuator and sensor.
