Abstrakt: Pain control is an important part of dentistry. Although most of them can cope with local anesthetic injections, a few are needle-phobic, and giving them an injection presents a challenge to the dentist. For other, the paresthesia which may linger for hours after the completion of the dental procedure is more objectionable than the injection. In the past decade, there has been renewed interest in the applications of electronic pain control in dentistry and several electronic dental anesthesia machines are currently being advertised and used. This communication is to bring certain developments regarding the electronic dental anesthesia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
