An assessment of the dynamics of changes in their concentration in the lacrimal fluid over time is required for an effective dosage of ophthalmic drugs. This paper provides examples of the determination of the analgesic drug fentanyl used for premedication before ophthalmic surgery by multisensory stripping voltammetry.
