Abstrakt: Use its bright, clean flavor for homemade hot sauce or sprinkle on meats as a seasoning mix alongside paprika, garlic powder and other spices. DEPARTMENTS Unlike chili powder spice blends, chile powders come from a single type of pepper that has been dried and ground, and they can taste wildly different. Transfer to a clean spice grinder or mortar and pestle along with 1 Tbsp. amchoor (green mango powder) and 1 tsp. each Kashmiri (or mild) chile powder and pink Himalayan salt; grind to a powder.
