Abstrakt: The problem of improving the quality of forecasting the cost of measuring equipment is considered. The main methods and models for forecasting the cost of measuring equipment, as well as the main factors that determine the cost are described. A method for calculating the cost of promising measuring equipment, which allows taking into account its technical specifications, has been developed. Methods for calculating the nonlinear dependence of the cost of measuring equipment on its technical specifications are suggested. As an example, additive and multiplicative models of the cost of generators of high-frequency signals and spectrum analyzers as functions of the technical specifications of these devices are considered.
