Microsoft and Google force their browsers on to us I enjoyed Issue 611's Cover Feature (pictured below) on alternative browsers to Chrome and Edge, but feel you missed out an important reason why you'd want to switch, which is that Google G and Microsoft do almost everything they can to force their browsers on to you. To add to the problems, there's currently a worldwide shortage of microchips - a situation that won't improve if we bin millions of computers at the whim of Microsoft What's wrong with Windows 10? Andrew Nicol Fed up with Microsoft's jargon through and through I wonder if any other readers are as irritated as I am by Microsoft's latest ambiguous message: "We have committed to supporting Windows 10 through 14 October 2025"?
