Abstrakt: The influence of concentration of dressed natural minerals (kaolin, talc, clinoptilolite, and bentonite) on the properties of nanocomposites based on random polypropylene and a block copolymer of propylene with ethylene is considered in this work. AGM-9 γ-aminopropyltriethoxysilane is used as a dressing agent for natural minerals. The functionalized thermoplastic ethylene-propylene copolymers are synthesized via chemical modification of a polymer matrix with methacrylic acid. The functionalized polymer matrix makes it possible to obtain new nanocomposites which are organic-inorganic hybrid gels. Such a structure of an interpenetrating network appears owing to a sol-gel reaction not only between nanoparticles and the dressing agent but also between the dressing agent and the polymer matrix.
