Abstrakt: Toxoplasmosis is a zoonotc disease caused by Toxoplasma gondii and widely known carried by cat, its main host. Risk factors include rearing management such as grass-feeding, environmental hygiene and health management. This study aims to determine the risk factor of toxoplasmosis which found in sheep and goat in order to prevent its spreading. This research is cross-sectional study with structured questionnaire. To attain its analytic risk factor through comparing numbers of odds ratio and relative risk. Data obtained from the analysis of odds ratios dan relative risks are useful to determine the relevance of risk factors with incidence of toxoplasmosis. Sampling process was carried out by Probability Proportional to Size (PPS) method which samples of goats and sheep from three districts in Batu city. The number of samples in this study were 150 samples. Serological testing used to detect IgM and IgG antibodies is done at Lampung Veterinary Center. The seroprevalence of toxoplasmosis from IgM was 66.1% for goat and 54.54% for sheep, then IgG result was 95.1% for goats and 97.72% for sheep. Result of this study showed that grass feeding from rice fields, drinking water from reservoirs, breeders actions who doesn't throw away cat faeces and doesn't treat sick animals were risk factors for toxoplasmosis in goats and sheep at Batu City.
