Abstrakt: Now-a-days retrofits work become more popular in existing structure. Among them post-installed anchors are more economical and sustainable. Post-installed anchors are provided for retrofitting works also known as retrofits anchors. Anchors may be tied in almost any desired position of a concrete structure with using different types of chemical adhesives like fischer, INDEX, HILTI, Mortar, Resin and Hardener, FASTFIX etc. Within these adhesives fischer, INDEX, Mortar are used available in Bangladesh but there is no compared among them. The effectiveness of these adhesives applied in post-installed anchor connection is identified under pull-out test where adhesive tighten the anchor in concrete. The experimental specimens of 6 inch diameter 12 inch height with different mix proportion of ingredients for preparing concrete where stone chips as coarse aggregates with different anchors grade are used. However, the selection of adhesive for post-installed anchors may rely on some guiding criteria such as cost effectiveness and environmental considerations all over the world. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
