A wireless transcutaneous energy transfer system based on a class E power amplifier is considered. The system uses dynamic tuning of the amplifier capacitors to compensate for the effect of the misalignment of the transmitter and receiver coils. The system provides constant power output within the coil misalignment range. The output power is set within the stable power range. The boundaries of this range depend in a complicated way on the parameters of the system. The goal of this work was to study the effect of the operating frequency of the system on the width of the stable power range and the overall efficiency of the wireless transcutaneous energy transfer system. It was shown that an increase in the operating frequency allows the efficiency of the system to be improved and the stable power range to be expanded. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
