Abstrakt: These images were highly suggestive of a renal subcapsular abscess secondary to a migrated grass awn. On the transverse plane of the kidney, this structure had an oblique direction from the dorso-medial aspect of the kidney, and its cranial part reached the medulla (Fig 1B). A 5-year-old castrated male Jack Russel terrier was referred for intermittent fever, weakness and reluctance to move of 2-week duration, and a self-limiting cough of one-week duration 1 month before presentation.
