Optical characterization of nano crystalline Bi2MoO6 synthesized via modified combustion technique.

Abstrakt: Bi2MoO6 nanoparticles were prepared by single step combustion method. Bi2MoO6 nanocrystals present a single shaped orthorhombic structure and their crystalline size 13nm. They were characterized by XRD, Photo luminescence [PL], UV and FTIR spectroscopy studies confirms the presence of highly crystalline Bi2MoO6 orthorhombic structure. FTIR analysis shows that the phase is pure with short range distortion. From UV-VIS spectra band gap obtained is 3.47eV. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
