Abstrakt: As early as the first decades of the 19th century, the Russian Empire gets actively involved, on a large scale, in actions meant to destabilize the Romanian society, by creating social and political disarray to prove to the public opinion on an international level that they’re the only ones that could stabilize and help modernize the south-eastern part of the continent. Russia’s secret activity on Romanian territory in the modern age was complex and focused on knowing every detail of the political and economic aspect, on controlling, from an informational point of view, the main politicians, organizing attacks to get rid of the ones standing in the way of the imperial policy in the region etc. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
