Ethylene/1-hexene copolymerization was carried out with a new Ti (IV) complexes stabilized by fluorinated 2-hydroxymethylphenol derivatives and activated by MAO-free binary cocatalysts—{alkyl aluminum chloride + Bu2Mg}. Structures and properties of the obtained copolymers were measured by DSC, GPC and 13C NMR. The effects of the ligand structure and the nature of organoaluminum activator on the polymer yield, comonomer incorporation, polymer composition, molecular weight, polydispersity index and stress–strain behavior have been investigated. The results indicated that the complex with adamantyl substituent was the most active in this series. The obtained copolymer exhibited the highest 1-hexene incorporation content of 18.9 mol% [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
