Abstrakt: Various transformations have been implemented to develop the STEM field in Malaysia. English is also used as the language in the teaching and learning of science and mathematics, emphasizing the change in the instructional medium. With the inception of Dual-Language Programs in Malaysian schools, this study investigates teachers' experience in teaching science and mathematics in English apart from acknowledging the challenges faced along the journey. This study employed questionnaires and open-ended questions as the research instruments. The instruments were administered to seventy science and mathematics teachers. Furthermore, a focus group discussion was executed to gather data. The results disclosed that teachers' perceived language skills, confidence levels, and students' responses were at a moderate level. Several challenges were unearthed by the respondents. The results also stressed that the teachers' roles are indispensable as they need to master both content and language. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
