Abstrakt: The creation of environmentally friendly polymeric materials able to decompose at the end of their service life under the environment, in particular, by replacing the original nonrenewable components with natural ones, is a promising way to decrease the impact of polymer wastes on the environment. The article examines the effect of natural components (castor and palm vegetable oils, xanthan exopolysaccharide), the mass fraction of which amounts to 70 wt.% on the structure, thermal and viscoelastic properties of water-based polyurethanes. The structure - properties relationship was confirmed by wide and small-angle X-rays scattering, DMA, TGA and DSC analysis. The presence of components of natural origin have been shown to affect the structure, viscoelastic behavior and thermal properties of studied polyurethanes. The data obtained made it possible to conclude the possibility of obtaining stable polyurethanes with an adjustable set of properties depending on the amount and nature of the renewable raw materials.
