The article presents a profile of Brazilian photographer Ana Leal an artist who works primarily in photography, and considers photography to be a tool for depicting and escaping from reality and exploring these possibilities through ideas surrounding memory. Topics include inspired by Minimalism and the Concretism movement in Brazil, as well as Impressionist painters; and editing process consists of pairing down photographs to depict stillness and structure on various media. |
