The viscosity and surface properties are studied in water–polymeric fire-extinguishing solutions. The effect of components is evaluated on the viscosity, surface tension, wettability, foam forming capacity, and foam expansion ratio. The process of fire-extinguishing composition runoff along hydrophobic and hydrophilic surfaces is explored. The effect of the viscous and surface properties on the properties is demonstrated for various fire extinguishing composition. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
