Abstrakt: In the digital age, multimedia products are the most important means of communication between the reader and the academic library. Accordingly, with the introduction of new technologies, the library management system is completely changing. Web resources are now being implemented in most library processes. Proper management helps librarians to better and more efficiently serve users and perform ever-changing time calls. Library management systems and web resources help use key time management principles to save time. Properly implemented software allows you to manage the customer service process from the moment of ordering a copy to its distribution to the appropriate reader. For this purpose, all departments of the library (acquisition, processing, maintenance) are involved in automated activities. As a result, continuous real-time monitoring is performed by using an information and management system. The purpose of this study was to analyze library management as a tool that allows modern libraries to communicate with visitors and establish the activities of all departments. The aim is also to analyze the extent to which Web and Library standards affect the development of academic library work. The core of the modern information age is users. Therefore, the library business process of the reader-oriented library must be built to reflect the needs of the modern world and meet the changing needs of readers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
