Abstrakt: Then the idea arose that the elevated plasma creatinine levels may have been caused by urine contamination of the heparin plasma samples. An urine drop of 20-40 µL from U1 or U2 would already be sufficient to cause the elevated creatinine levels in P1 and P2, depending on the creatinine levels in the urine and the plasma volume.
