The article offers information that the French utility firm Suez has won a contract from the oil and gas firm Petroleum Development Oman for the treatment of water produced from oil fields. It reports on the installation of a water treatment system by the Suez for avoiding the contamination of deep aquifers, reducing energy consumption and developing biodiversity. It also presents views of Ana Giros, director of Suez, on the contract, as of April 2021. |
