Abstrakt: Most HS-affected patients have stage I (mild) or II (moderate) in Hurley classification, which is consistent with our findings.1 Nevertheless, in our study 85% of areas from Hurley's stage I patients had fistulas, proving that clinical examination alone can underestimate HS and thus lead to insufficient treatment.
