| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the Worlding SF conference that took place in Graz, Austria in December 2018. Over the course of the conference, three distinct strands of academic discussions emerged: (1) the criticism of science fiction as part of a multinational cultural production machinery and the discordant interests that this produces; (2) the growing intersectionality and diversity of representation in science fiction; and (3) the anthropocene as a central motif for science-fictional speculation that impacts more and more discourse in sf studies.
