Abstrakt: As detailed, the raft of technological MRI advancements described in the last two decades continues the advancement towards more widespread integration of MRI into routine pulmonary imaging pathways. The article concludes that O SB 2 sb -enhanced MRI offers similar capability as CT in pulmonary function assessment and potentially more accurate COPD stage classification. Pulmonary MRI has traditionally lagged behind adopting techniques embraced more readily elsewhere in the body, with chest radiographs and computed tomography (CT) well established first-line assessments of lung disease.
