With the rise of COVID-19, people are seeking remote medical solutions like never before. Women are desperate for urinary incontinence treatment, and through online searches are directed to mobile applications, home devices and advice via social media. Although self-treatment methods may benefit some, women need to be cautious that many of these solutions are not backed by clinical evidence and lack patient-specific advice.
