The diffusion-transport properties of complexes based on arabinogalactan and its oxidized forms with nitrogen-containing compounds, 5-aminosalicylic acid, 4-aminosalicylic acid, and isonicotinic acid hydrazide, are studied under conditions simulating biological media. The complexation of polysaccharides and oligosaccharides with drugs leads to the creation of prolonged dosage forms. The dynamics of drug release from the complexes is influenced by the nature of the polysaccharide matrix and its molecular weight. The complexes based on the initial arabinogalactan have the greatest prolonging effect. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
