These results suggest that topical ropivacaine could be efficient in reducing wound care-induced pain for patients with EB. Dear Editor, Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a heterogeneous group of rare inherited skin disorders that cause fragile, blistering skin. During home baths, persistence of the efficacy of ropivacaine was reported for seven patients by the patients themselves or their parents when entering the bath and during dressing change.
