Design of novel rotary paraboloid transducer array.

Abstrakt: Aiming at the problems of low energy conversion rate, high cost and high machining accuracy in common one-dimensional linear array and two-dimensional planar array, a rotating paraboloid transducer array is designed based on the construction of directivity function of arbitrary three-dimensional array. The planar transducer array is rotated into a paraboloid type, and the optimal parameters of the rotating paraboloid transducer array are determined by the directivity function. The simulation results show that the new array can not only reduce the number of transducer elements, but also increase the array spacing, improve the directivity of the array, and improve the efficiency of acoustic energy conversion, so that more acoustic energy is concentrated in the direction of the main lobe.
