Abstrakt: In this Research process we investigated the Anti-inflammatory properties along with Analgesic activity of freshly prepared as well as marketed formulation for Kokilaksha Kashayam given by oral doses of 125,250 also 500 mg/kg/day of body weight to the well and healthy experimental animals. Kokilaksha Kashayam an Oral Polyherbal Ayurvedic formulation, always which habitually given through Ayurvedic practitioners intended the purpose of inflammatory disorder in India. The Anti-inflammatory property with Carrageenan induces hind paw edema into experimental rats and also measured by plethysmometrically at various time intervals. together formulations were also evaluate for the analgesic activity by means of hot plate (Eddy’s) and tail-flick method in experimental albino rats, formalin along with writhing tests on mice, show considerable ( p<0.01) reduce in the carrageenan induce paw edema along with the analgesic activity with evidence, develop the response time through Eddy’s hot plate along with tail-flick method, formalin with writhing tests on experimental mice, standard drugs used Indomethacin and Tramadol respectively. In vitro results, “Kokilaksha Kashayam” appreciably (p < 0.001) inhibit Nitric oxide discharge LPS-stimulated pro-inflammatory cytokines IL-6 with TNF-α, in murine RAW264.7 along with THP-1 cells for human and establish considerable (p < 0.01) anti-inflammatory property at the different point in time interval following introduce carrageenan injection by greatest result on 3 hours (74% at 500 mg/kg). Likewise, Kokilaksha Kashayam both types appreciably (p < 0.05) reduce nociceptive pain, deliberate by hot plate, tail flick, formalin in addition writhing tests. The result, Kokilaksha Kashayam possesses amazing anti-inflammatory as well as analgesic property, provide that effective option for presently obtainable Synthetic molecules such like Non Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) and additionally analyze test formulation more active than marketed.
