3D printing is a complex manufacturing method with completely new challenges. One of them is the simulation of the whole process. In this contribution the building process of the 3D printed part is thermomechanically coupled simulated with step by step element activation along a path from a slicer program. Thereby a hyperelastic material model and material parameters from literature are used. Simulation results of an exemplifying building process are in good agreement with corresponding experiments.
