We consider the use of electric induction heating of biomass for the production of biogas. The functions of heating elements are performed by disc-shaped skirts made of an electrically conductive material in which eddy currents are induced. Two solutions of this problem are investigated: for stationary heating elements located inside the bioreactor and for rotating heating elements. It is shown that the rotation of the heating elements ensures uniform heating of the biomass over the entire volume of the bioreactor. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
