The influence of doping on the physicochemical properties of cobalt alloy with niobium carbide NbC is determined on the basis of experimental studies. As established, a doping with a complex of elements including chromium, aluminium, tungsten and iron, reduces the melting point from (1410 ± 10)°C to (1320 ± 10)°C, does not affect the phase composition and structural state, but significantly increases the oxidation resistance at a temperature of 1100°C. The optimum content of alloying elements is established to impart increased heat resistance to a natural composite based on cobalt with niobium carbide. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
