Abstrakt: Underwater crossings of trunk gas pipelines (TGPL) across water bodies are among the most complex structures. One of the determining factors of the efficiency of trunk gas pipelines is their interaction with complex geotechnical and operational conditions in Yakutia. Determination of riverbed deformations in the area of the underwater crossing of a trunk gas pipeline is one of the most important elements of research. Changes in the characteristics of the river flow, safety and service reliability of the underwater crossing of the TGPL across the Lena depend on the riverbed deformations. The shift of the sand body along the course of the Lena significantly affects the nature of the ice drift and spring floods. The paper provides data on measurements of the bottom profile of the Lena River in October 2012 at the discharge sections of the Hatassy-Pavlovsk underwater gas pipeline on a Wellboat hydrometeorological boat using a Lowrance Elite-4DSI echo sounder. A total of 4 boards were made. The results of profiling on four discharge sections revealed that the profile of the river bottom drastically changes on all these four profiles near the right bank (the left banks of the Ues Kumah and Bergehe Uehe islands), lowering further down to a maximum of 76.5 m by BS. From the analysis of changes in the maximum depths at the discharge sections, it follows that the maximum depth was recorded in the area of the underwater crossing of the TGPL near the right bank. There is significant bank erosion at the left coast. Consequently, the presence of the underwater crossing of the trunk gas pipeline considerably changes the nature of the movement of the micro- and mesoforms of the bottom along the river watercourse.
