The influence of various solvents (water, ethanol, acetone, glycerol, isopropanol) and temperature conditions of 200–1100°C during the final stage of the synthesis on the electronic structure of nanoscale calcium hydroxyapatite is studied. A significant change in the electronic structure of calcium hydroxyapatite is revealed in the order of use: ethanol → isopropanol → acetone → glycerol → water. This change appears in an increase of the binding energy of core electrons of calcium, phosphorus and oxygen atoms and is evidence of the outflow of electron density from calcium atoms and a change in the symmetry of oxygen tetrahedra. NMR data suggest that the use of these solvents and temperature conditions of 200–900°C does not lead to changes in the structure associated with changes in the position of OH-groups.
