Abstrakt: The quantitative content of metalloporphyrins is determined by the example of heavy oils from the Usinskoye oil field. Vanadyl and nickel porphyrins are identified via derivative electronic spectrophotometry in the visible region. Their content is determined using second-order derivatives. The developed technique allows determining the content of metalloporphyrins both in light and heavy highly resinous oils, oil fractions, heavy residues, and bitumoids. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
